The regulations do not specify how old safety data sheets can be, but they should be reviewed and updated regularly. According to Reach (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation, and Restriction of Chemicals), updates to the sheets should be made as soon as new information that could impact risk management measures or new hazard information becomes available. The sheets should also be updated when an authorization or restriction has been granted or denied.

It is crucial to keep safety data sheets, both those you create and those you receive, for at least ten years. This is because they may need to be presented during a potential inspection.

In iDistributor you can find all your current and older reviosns of safety data sheets in the "Info page" of the product.
