Article 31:8 A safety data sheet shall be provided free of charge on paper or electronically.
Safety data sheets must be provided for chemical products classified as hazardous and sold to professional customers. The safety data sheets are issued either on paper or electronically, no later than the first delivery of the product.
Updated sheets must be provided to all professional customers to whom the supplier has delivered the product within the last twelve months. It is not sufficient to only publish safety data sheets on the internet and refer to a website. Instead, a more active approach is required to meet the requirement of providing information to professional customers, such as sending out a direct link. It is a valuable service to have safety data sheets available on the company's website.
