The e-mail reports are an essential part of iDistributor and the workflow. Here, you can learn more about the steps involved in the process to understand everything better.
Type 1 is for receiving Activity report
Used for IT department during implementation.
Type 2 is for receiving errors from distribution engine and API
Used for business side to handle error messages.
Type 3 is a copy of the end users e-mail
Copy of the e-mails for SDS files and updates for end customers.
Type 4 is for receiving errors from distribution engine only
Receiving errors originating from distribution engine but not the API.
Detailed info
Type 1 activity report
Overview of request sent to API in detail. Purpose is to investigate errors in detail/or monitor requests. Usually used to IT-staff. Can be sent to a specified e-mail adress.
Type 2 error reports
When the API is returning an error. This report is supposed to be used for end user. Can be sent to a specified e-mailadress.
Error messages for Type 2
empty-parameter = Any of the mandatory parameters Delivery_ID, Recipient_ID, Country or Art_no is missing/empty.
empty-parameter = Email parameter is empty and parameter allow_saving_empty_email is set to false leads to API failing
distribution request not saved and email sent.
empty-parameter = Email parameter is empty and parameter allow_saving_empty_email is set to true will save the distribution request, but error email sent as warning.
malformed-email = Email address is not a correct email address.
delivery-id-already-used = Delivery_ID has already been used in a previous distribution request.
Email subject: “Missing product error report” = iDistributor does not have a product with the correct article number.
Email content:” Products are missing : <list of artnos>“
Email subject: “Error report on sending sds's” = Errors and warnings when applying rules to send SDS.
“No rules for country: <country code>” = No rules to cover the country. No SDS can be sent.
”No documents matched the rules. We could not send any SDS!” = No SDS matches the rules nothing can be sent.
“There is no file for document with article no: {0} in language: {1}.” = Specific SDS for language is missing.
“Rules are not fully fulfilled.” = Warning that SDS for all requested languages in rules have not been sent. No SDS has been sent because of the rules.
Type 3 copy of the customers e-mail
Here you receive a copy and new e-mails or new revisions. Can be sent to a specified e-mailadress.
This is useful if a customers claim to not have recieved an e-mail.
