Overview:

You can streamline the process of providing safety data sheets to end customers by utilizing country-specific rules.
By configuring these rules, you can ensure that safety data sheets are delivered in the preferred language based on the country code. This article will guide you through the process of how country-specific rules works for different scenarios.

When requesting safety data sheets from your ERP-system, the country code is essential for language customization. If you have more than one market or wants to have a second language (English as a fall-back) we can define Country rules for you.

Example scenario 1:
You sell products to Poland and want to provide your end customers with safety data sheets in Polish. But a lot of them are not provided in Polish.

  • ERP-system sends the country code PL to iDistributor.
  • We set the system to send safety data sheets in Polish as a first choice and English as a second choice.

Example scenario 2
You sell products to Finland and want to provide your end customers with safety data sheets in both Swedish and Finnish since both languages are official and needs to be sent according to legislation. If neither Swedish of Finnish is present, English shall be provided.

  • ERP-system sends the country code FI to iDistributor.
  • We set the system to send safety data sheets in Finnish and Swedish as a first choice and English as a second choice.

Rules can be up to four choices. Please contact Intersolia for setting up/changing the rules.
