Safety data sheets are items found in iDistributor, while products are the items you offer for sale to customers. However, these two components do not always share a one-to-one relationship.
Example 1:
When selling a product with various sizes, such as paint in 1 liter, 5 liters, and 10 liters, your ERP system might assign three different article numbers. Despite the different sizes, they contain the same chemical mixture, resulting in a single safety data sheet.
Example 2:
For instance, if you sell a glue comprising a base and a hardener, your ERP system might assign only one article number.
Nevertheless, since the base and hardener are distinct chemical mixtures, iDistributor must include two separate items.
